Position Overview
We are seeking an EWP Designer for our client’s Northeast Georgia facility. This is your opportunity to join a company known for its stability, professional excellence, and dedication to employee success.
Required Experience
- Proficiency with Javelin or iStruct software preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction industry concepts and practices
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- 4–6 years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination)
- Professional work ethic and enthusiasm
- Competence in basic mathematics, geometry, and trigonometry
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans
Essential Duties
- Produce accurate and timely drawings from blueprints provided by customers
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and problem-solve design challenges
- Finalize designs for production and assembly
- Evaluate drawings to ensure compliance with design standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook efficiently
