Assist and liaison to campus IT
Create/audit list of all divisional computers and help create a replacement cycle
Help with general desktop support and event set up as needed for AV
Help automate reports and identify uses for AI
Help create apps for better reporting and automation of processes
Minimum Requirements:
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Reliable and detail-oriented for tasks such as:
- Setting up AV equipment for rooms and meetings.
- Providing basic help desk support for the unit.
- Acting as liaison between the unit and central IT.
- Tracking and cataloging IT equipment.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Familiarity with Windows/Mac environments or basic networking concepts.
- Interest in process automation or scripting.

Tech Savviness
The student develops and applies technical skills in desktop support, AV setup, equipment tracking, and basic networking or operating system environments. They explore and implement automation tools, Al applications, and app-building platforms to improve reporting and streamline processes.

The student analyzes technical issues, evaluates potential solutions, and applies logical troubleshooting methods to resolve desktop, AV, and equipment-related problems. They assess system needs, identify inefficiencies, and contribute to decisions about equipment replacement cycles and automation opportunities.
Communication
The student communicates technical information clearly and respectfully to non-technical users, provides status updates to supervisors, and effectively liaises between the Academic Affairs and campus IT. They adapt their communication style to different audiences and document processes or equipment inventories with clarity and accuracy
