Planning Intern

Begin your career working with some of the top civil engineering experts in the industry. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Planning Intern to join our team in Columbus OH.

B&N Planning Intern Responsibilities:

  • Work with Planners and Engineers on a variety of planning projects – projects include large area and long-range plans, active transportation plans, corridor studies, safety studies, and comprehensive plans
  • Assist with development of maps, basic analysis and data visualization, graphics design, and writing for development of plans and studies
  • Support public and stakeholder engagement activities for planning projects

Skills & Qualifications:

  • You are a current student in good academic standing pursuing a degree in Urban/City/Regional Planning, Geography, civil engineering, or similar from an ABET accredited program and have completed at least two years of your undergraduate degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required
  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
