Dining and Retail Services - Residential Office Aide Advanced
JOB SUMMARY
The DRS Office Aide Advanced assists with hiring, scheduling, and managing student staff. Responsibilities include tracking attendance, reviewing timesheets, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with overseeing other Office Aides. This role also involves phone handling, supporting operational units, and executing tasks from management. Professionalism and discretion with sensitive information are essential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist with student staff coordination, including hiring, scheduling, attendance tracking, and timesheet review
Support daily office operations by handling phones, maintaining cleanliness, and executing tasks from management with professionalism and discretion
Assist with food operations as needed
Oversee other Office Aide employees
Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be currently enrolled UWM student
Available to work a minimum of 15-20 hours/week, Monday through Friday
Responsible, reliable, and able to work efficiently and accurately
Possess a professional and pleasant demeanor
Willingness to learn and handle confidential information properly
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to remain seated at a desk and use a computer or phone for extended periods
Able to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly, including reaching outward, upward, and sideways
Stand a minimum of 4 hours continuously (as needed in operations)
