Residential Architectural Drafter

Paradise Contracting LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Architecture or Civil Engineering student for remote drafting support. We are a tech-forward residential firm based in Chattanooga.

The Project:

Your first priority is drafting a permit-ready set for a 22x36 detached garage and climate-controlled gym suite. This structure features a continuous A-frame roof design with an 8:12 pitch and Fiber Cement board and batten siding.

Responsibilities:

Develop floor plans, elevations, and structural sections from finalized specs.

Ensure all designs meet IRC 2018/2024 guidelines.

Collaborate remotely to refine architectural sets for permit submission.

Requirements:

High proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD.

Strong understanding of residential wood-frame construction and 2x6 wall framing.
