Dining and Retail Services - Dock STAFF
Requirements
- Must be taking at least one class at UWM (doesn't matter if your an undergraduate student or graduate student)
- Must a valid US drivers license
- Must be available to work shifts between the hours of 6am to 4pm Monday through Friday (doesn't have to be everyday but some examples are 6am-10am, 8am-12pm, 8am-2pm)
- Must be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds
- Must have a strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Must be able to complete work assignments as a team member as well as work independently
- Willingness to accept new responsibilities while learning in the position
- Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain a positive attitude towards students, staff, and Restaurant Operations
Job Duties
- Opening and closing the docks
- Usage of Foodservice Suite to check in and compare invoices to what was received versus what we ordered
- Transporting and delivering of pallets, carts, and flatbeds with food around campus
- Breaking down and separating of food on pallets
- Break down and bailing of cardboard
- Maintenance of department vehicles
- Maintaining proper rotation of food products on hand
- Transport furniture and other large objects around campus
- Other duties as assigned
