Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce- Business Development Intern

Federal Work-Study (FWS) eligibility is REQUIRED for this Panther Edge Internship position.

All applicants will go through a Federal Work-Study eligibility clearance conducted by the Panther Edge Internship Team before their application is forwarded to the employer.

The Business Development Intern works directly with entrepreneurs, small business 
owners, and the HWCC Business Development Team to 
provide technical assistance, support loan preparation, conduct business research, 
and assist with community and economic development initiatives. Interns gain 
hands-on experience working with real clients while developing professional skills in 
business consulting, lending, project management, and community engagement. 
The intern reports directly to the Special Projects Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
•Provide direct support to entrepreneurs through intake, business planning, and loan 
application preparation.
•Conduct research and analysis to support business development, financial projections,
feasibility studies, and clientresource connections.
•Assist with lending operations by organizing loan documents, assembling files, 
attending key meetings, and maintainingaccurate client records.
•Represent HWCC at site visits, outreach events, workshops, networking opportunities, 
and community engagementactivities.
•Support administrative, reporting, grant, and special project needs related to business 
development programs.
