Junior Architectural Designer — Residential Architecture

Small NYC architecture practice specializing in high-end residential projects is seeking a Junior Architectural Designer with at least 1 year of professional residential architecture experience.

The position is part-time with the potential to become full-time.

Responsibilities include:

  • Architectural drafting and construction documentation
  • Plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules
  • 3D modeling/rendering and presentation materials
  • Research, organization, and project coordination

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of residential architecture experience
  • Strong architectural drafting experience and excellent AutoCAD skills
  • Experience with 3D modeling/rendering
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and disciplined
  • Pleasant, collaborative, and reliable
  • Able to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy

We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing thorough, accurate, and well-coordinated drawings, and who is interested in growing with a small, hands-on architecture practice.
