About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Strategy, Design & Development Associate to support architectural, design, development, and strategic projects across a growing network of cancer treatment centers.
This is an entry-level opportunity with unusually broad exposure. Working closely with an architect and organizational leadership, you will help move projects from concept through execution while gaining hands-on experience across healthcare design, architecture, construction, project development, and strategic initiatives.
This is not a traditional junior architecture or administrative support role. You will be involved in active projects, real-world decision-making, and the execution of initiatives that directly shape clinical environments.
One day you may be helping coordinate a renovation or site improvement; another, evaluating vendors, reviewing project progress, researching materials or equipment, supporting space-planning decisions, or helping advance a broader strategic initiative across the organization.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, organized, energetic, and comfortable taking ownership. We are looking for someone who sees an unfinished task, understands the objective, and figures out how to move it forward.
What You’ll Do
You will work across a range of design, development, and strategic initiatives supporting the growth and evolution of our treatment centers.
Responsibilities may include:
Support architectural, renovation, expansion, and development projects from early planning through execution.
Work closely with architects, contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Help move projects from concept to completion by tracking schedules, deliverables, open items, and next steps.
Participate in site assessments and help identify opportunities to improve the function, appearance, efficiency, and patient experience of clinical spaces.
Support space planning, design development, construction coordination, and project implementation.
Research and evaluate materials, furnishings, equipment, vendors, and project solutions.
Obtain proposals, coordinate site visits, and help compare options for project stakeholders.
Maintain project documentation, plans, photographs, specifications, schedules, and related records.
Track active projects closely, identify potential delays or unresolved items, and proactively help move them toward resolution.
Support the development of consistent design standards across a growing network of treatment centers.
Contribute to strategic projects related to site development, organizational growth, design standardization, and operational improvement.
Coordinate across multiple stakeholders to help ensure projects remain organized, aligned, and moving forward.
Take ownership of the many details required to turn a strong concept into a completed physical environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or current/recent study in architecture, design, construction management, engineering, real estate development, project management, or a related field.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and common project-management tools.
Familiarity with architectural drawings, CAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software is a plus but not required.
Previous internship or project experience involving architecture, construction, design, development, or project management is helpful but not required.
