6:00am-10:00am
6:00am-2:30pm
1:30pm-10:00pm
6:00pm-10:00pm
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
General Cleaning and Maintenance Duties:
- Sweep, dust mop and wet mop floors, stairs and landings
- Dust, sanitize and polish furniture, doors, woodwork, radiators, desks, window sills, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces.
- Empty waste containers and outdoor smoking receptacles
- Empty recycling receptacles and place recyclables in proper areas
- Vacuum carpeting and reset furniture
- Wash and spot clean walls
- Wash windows and glass partitions
- Restock, clean, and sanitize restrooms
- Shovel snow, apply salt, and sweep exterior of buildings
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Periodic Building Maintenance Duties:
- Strip, wax and seal floors
- Spot clean and extract carpeting
- Polish floor surfaces and clean grout
- Pressure wash restrooms and outside areas of the building
Equipment Maintenance and Operation:
- Operate vacuum cleaning equipment
- Operate floor scrubbing/polishing equipment
- Make minor adjustments and maintain floor scrubbing equipment
- Make minor adjustments and maintain vacuum, pressure washing, and extracting equipment
- Have a thorough understanding of all custodial projects and procedures
- Participate in special projects as needed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift supplies or equipment that could weigh up to 60lbs.; must be able to be on your feet for the entire shift; must be able to bend or stoop repeatedly throughout the entire shift; must be able to work outdoors regardless of the temperature.
