Tutor - Upward Bound Math & Science

Seeking tutors for 9th-12th grade students in classes during UWM's Upward Bound Math & Science academic pre-college program. Responsibilities may include: explaining problems, helping students with homework, testing student’s knowledge of subject, recording student’s progress and other duties as assigned.
 
We seek sophomores, juniors and seniors with an overall GPA of 2.75 or higher. Must be able to tutor high school students in 2-3 of the following subjects:
· Language Arts
· History
· Spanish
· French
· Psychology
 
Days: Monday-Thursday
Location: UW-Milwaukee campus
Hours: 3:00 pm-6:00 PM (up 12 hours per week)
Pay: $9/hour
 
Tutors with a strong interest may be extended through the spring semester.
