Be On the Safe Side Driver
The BOSS Driver is charged with the safe transportation of passengers within the BOSS operational area. Drivers are supplied with a radio and iPad to keep in communication with dispatch and with the Team Leader on duty. They are expected to follow all UWM and Transportation Services policies, and to treat all people with courtesy, professionalism and respect. Drivers must operate with responsibility, because they are trusted not only with their own well-being and those of other motorists, but also the well-being of their passengers whose personal safety is the very reason BOSS was founded. Additionally, all first semester BOSS drivers are considered “probationary” employees until the completion of their first full semester of employment.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and must have had a valid driver's license for 2 or more consecutive years. Applicants must pass the Universities Driver Authorization screening as well as a University background check
