Recovery Station Monitor

Title: Panther Recovery Station Monitor

Department: UWM Athletics

Reports to: Sports Nutrition Assistant

Job Summary: Monitor Panther Recovery Station and provide a welcoming environment to all UWM Student-Athletes

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock and restock milk in coolers
  • Restock vitamins for disbursement while adhering to safe food handling practices 
  • Stock and restock cereal bars and fruit to set up for next shift
  • Track what each student-athlete is provided for recovery fuel
  • Recycle cardboard and plastic where appropriate
  • Adhere to all Panther Athletics Code of Conduct Policies
  • Protect assets
  • Set positive example

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to lift 20-40 pounds periodically
  • General interest in Athletics strongly preferred
  • General study interests include Nutritional Sciences, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Nursing, Biology, Human Nutrition strongly preferred
  • Availability to work early morning or late afternoon shifts
Term of Employment:
Fall Semester: September - December 7:30a – 10:00a or 3:30p – 6:00p, Monday – Friday
Spring Semester: January – May 7:30a –10:00a or 3:30p – 6:00p, Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: minimum of $7.50/hr

Scheduling: Each shift is 2.5 - 3 hours – 10 shifts per week. Applicants can apply for up to 10 hours a week or as little as one shift of 2.5 hours.
