UWM College of Letters and Science (L&S) web development office is seeking a motivated student with experience in the maintenance, revitalization, and/or creation of websites in WordPress, or similar web development tool. Applicants must have experience working with HTML, as well as some understanding of CSS, and must possess good writing and/or editing skills. Basic image manipulation experience using Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
 
Applicants must be interested in projects that involve collaboration with web team members, L&S administration, faculty, and academic staff. It is anticipated that our new hire will divide his/her time between everyday website maintenance and collaboration with the L&S Deans’ office to revitalize the UWM Humanities website.
 
Applicants must be in good academic standing and be able to work approximately 20 hours per week during spring and fall semesters. Our student developers commit to a custom work schedule between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, with the understanding that their class schedule and education are their main priority.
 
Summer employment up to 40 hours per week is also available.
