Gasthaus Food Service Worker: Bartender

Position Summary:

This position will be expected to perform all or some of the following duties as assigned by the area supervisor.

Qualifications:

Previous bartending experience. Ability to work quickly, accurately and maintain a pleasant disposition. Must be responsible and reliable.

Essential Duties:

TENDING BAR - Greet customers, check IDs, take orders, mix drinks, become familiar with food and drink options, handle cash and credit card transactions.

CASHIERING - Greet customers, take orders, become familiar with menu to offer correct substitutions and recommendations, handle cash and credit card transactions.

FOOD SERVING - Set up serving stations including utensils, food, dishes, supplies and condiments; Maintain sanitation standards per instructions.

 

Additional Duties:

Maintain beverage station dispensers, refill as necessary; replenish condiments and serving utensils; complete required reports; clear and clean dining area tables after each meal period; perform other duties as assigned.

 FOOD PREPARATION - Assist with all phases of food preparation for salads, sandwiches, beverages, entrees, and specialty items; maintain sanitation standards and portion control per instructions.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, and be able to stand for long periods of time (4 hours); must be able to safely utilize kitchen tools and maneuver throughout a kitchen environment.
