Organization Intern - CPaRC
The Organization Intern works directly with a career counselor and needs to be a detail-oriented individual that has a willingness to take initiative and perform the following duties:
Duties:
- Support career counselor with scheduling
- Keep accurate cattracks, appointment, walk-in, and database records
- Assist counselor with projects as well as working on projects independently
- Maintain confidential information such as files and documents
- Organize and create OneDrive file system and other documents
Required Qualifications:
- Satisfactory academic standing
- High level of professionalism, demonstrated reliability and ethical conduct
- Comfort in using Microsoft Word and Excel and able to learn other software programs
- Experience in accurate data entry, detail orientation
- Creative problem solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to cooperate in team efforts, as well as work autonomously
- Interpersonal skills demonstrated through in person, phone and e-mail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of an office setting
- Interest in basic career topics, learning styles
- Creating and organizing information in formats tailored to specific learning needs
Hours and Compensation:
- 5-10 hours/per week
- $8-$9/hour, based on experience
