Tutor

The Upward Bound Program is an academic enrichment pre-college program for high school students that are low income and/or potential first generation college students. Promotes high school and college graduation; offers classroom instruction; tutoring sessions; and enrichment workshops; and provides a variety of social/cultural activities and trips. Program includes a six week summer component.

Meet with students daily to review and assist with class work.

Help students develop effective study habits and techniques.

Be up to date with program activities/events/meetings

Must demonstrate knowledge in their subject areas and the communication skills necessary to aid students. Must demonstrate the ability to provide tutorial sessions that complement the course work of the students.
