Registrar's Office Information Center Assistant

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED AND HAVE A FEDERAL WORK STUDY AWARD FOR THE FALL AND SPRING SEMESTERS AS PART OF THEIR FINANCIAL AID PACKAGE. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE FEDERAL WORK STUDY OR ARE NOT CURRENTLY ENROLLED AT UW-MILWAUKEE YOU SHOULD NOT APPLY.
12-20 hrs/week; Mon 8 am – 6 pm; Tues-Fri 8 am – 4:30 pm
Working as a team member in the Information Center, you will provide excellent customer service to students, parents, faculty, and staff with the knowledge you will gain about the UWM campus and the Registrar’s Office. We require someone who is dependable, accurate, detail oriented, self-motivated, possesses excellent customer service skills, and has the ability to work with minimal supervision. Mail undergraduate transcripts, process requests for transcripts, perform undergraduate verifications, process change of registration forms, perform transfer credit entry, and explain policies and procedures for the campus and the Registrar’s Office. During slower periods you will assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
