Tutor/Mentor in College of Engineering & Applied Sciences

Tutors work an average of 10 hours per week and earn a starting wage of $10.00/hr mostly in person with some online hours available. Applicants must be an undergraduate student in the College of Engineering and Applied Science majoring in Engineering or Computer Science. A tutor/mentor must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, obtained a B+ or higher in any Engineering course they want to tutor, and demonstrate content area knowledge and study skills, and desire to help peers improve study skills and find success in the course. Tutor/mentors are assigned to work with a small cohort of Freshman students on a regular basis in EAS 100. must commit to attending a training at the beginning of each semester, commit to working in the tutoring center for at least 2 semesters, and commit to working a minimum of 5 hours per week.

·        3.0 GPA or better
·        A, A- or B+ in the courses you wish to tutor
·       Undergraduate Student in the College of Engineering and Applied Science
