Academic Success Center - Math Tutor (WAUKESHA STUDENTS ONLY)

The Academic Success Center on the Waukesha campus is looking for UWM at Waukesha students to work as math tutors.

General Requirements:
  • Patience
  • Personable
  • Desire to learn
  • Initiative

GPA/Recommendation Requirements:
  • Math: B+ in MAT 110 or higher
  • (MAT 115 or 116 after Spring 2020)
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred
  • One Recommendation from and instructor in subject area you would like to tutor

Tutors are expected to work at least 4 hours per week. Tutors develop skills in their content area as well as communication and problem solving skills.
