Purpose: 
Manage UWM College of Engineering & Applied Science website content, developing new pages and sites as needed and requested, using content provided by members of the marketing team. The web content developer also implements changes to existing pages provided by members of the marketing team.
 
Duties:
Assist in implementing web content within established university and college guidelines and specifications. This includes working collaboratively with members of the marketing team to develop and implement web pages that are compelling, easily understood and accurate, in a timely manner.                                                                                                                                                            50%
 
Use software (Wordpress) and programming language tools (e.g. HTML) to prepare content for website.                                                                                                                                                        30%

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Requires at least a year of experience with web design (two semesters of undergraduate course work in web-based design may substitute for work experience).
 
Prefer demonstrated evidence of experience with Wordpress and HTML.
 
Prefer evidence of education and/or experience in visual communication skills (e.g. digital arts or graphic design classes) and the ability to use the web visually to promote the college’s programs.
 
Prefer understanding of user experience and design experience to continually improve the effectiveness of the web for marketing the college. 
 
Proficiency in MS Office products including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel preferred.
 
Must be able to manage multiple initiatives concurrently, meeting deadlines consistently.
