Photographer - University Recreation
Job Summary
The UREC Photographer/Videographer will capture and edit professional digital images to utilize for a variety of media outlets to effectively promote UREC.
Job Responsibilities
· Capture high-quality photos at various University Recreation events, mostly action shots
· Capture high-quality video
· Edit photos in a timely manner to be utilized for both online and print marketing purposes
· Consult with UREC staff assigning projects to determine project goals and outcomes
· Immediately upload all photos and videos to UREC’s SharePoint and external hard drive
· Maintain a thorough understanding of all available UREC programs and services
- · Available for 8-10 hours per week, hours will vary week to week depending on project load and department needs. (some weeks may have no work).
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends to capture photos during various recreation events and activities
- Proficient with photo editing software such as Photoshop
- Ability to work independently and manage workload to complete requests in a timely manner
· Creative mindset to input own ideas into project requests
· Must have own digital camera
