Work Study ONLY ERIC Laboratory Assistant
Located on the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus along the Fox River, the Environmental Research and Innovation Center (ERIC) employs student interns and volunteers year round. Interns will gain valuable hands-on experience with the following responsibilities:
- Assist ERIC staff performing various environmental laboratory tests
- Collecting, analyzing and recording data in accordance with laboratory protocols
- Quality assurance and quality control duties in compliance with laboratory certifying entities
- Conducting field research regarding a variety of environmental projects
Salary and Benefits:
Interns receive a starting pay of $9.50/hour with the opportunity to earn raises. You can also sign-up for internship credits (ET 397 – Environmental Laboratory Operations) for your experience.
The ERIC offers flexible scheduling during the summer and school year.
Experience in a laboratory setting preferred, but not required. Will train the right person.
