Student Website Developer

UWM Electa Quinney Institute for American Indian Education (EQI) is seeking a student with experience in the creation and maintenance of websites in WordPress. This is a project position that will be focused on the design and initial maintenance of a site on the UWM people server (outside of the UWM brand) for a new poetry organization. 

 

Applicants must have experience with WordPress, and must possess excellent grammatical and proofreading skills. Basic image manipulation experience using Adobe Creative Cloud is highly desired. 

 

Applicants must be interested in projects that involve collaboration with the board of the organization this site will support. Applicants must be an enrolled UWM student in good academic standing and be able to work approximately 10-12 hours per week during the fall semester, with the possibility of continuing through the spring semester. Work will be conducted remotely during your own hours, with the understanding that their class schedule and education are their main priorities.
