UREC Fitness Attendant
We are currently seeking Fitness enthusiasts to supervise, clean and provide customer service in the UREC Weight and Cardio Rooms for Winter and Spring Semester.

Position Summary:
Provide a high level of customer service while supervising the UREC Fitness Center, enforcing all Fitness Center policies, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and being available to provide member assistance during shift.
Essential Duties:
- Welcome, greet and provide excellent customer service to Fitness Center users
- Constantly walk through and survey the space, and supervise all activities within the Fitness Center
- Enforce all UREC Fitness Center policies to facility users (i.e. wearing masks)
- Clean and disinfect Fitness Equipment regularly throughout shift
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors in the fitness areas
- Count users and record in the capacity logs
- Attend and actively participate in all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions
- Execute emergency procedures when necessary
Qualifications:
- Must be available to work 8-12 hours per week including rotating weekends
- Must demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be willing to work with staff, students and members of a diverse background
- Must be willing to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Must have or complete First Aid/CPR/AED Certification within 3 months of hire
