Job Description
Nanjing Jinling High School in Nanjing, China is seeking full-time English language teachers and AP subject teachers for the Jinling High School-UCLA Global Classroom Program. Responsibilities include independently teaching English, pre-AP and AP courses as well as potentially serving as a teaching aide for UCLA Global Classroom credit bearing social science courses.  Positions start mid-August 2021.

In 2010, JLHS, in partnership with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Global Classroom Program, opened the Jinling Zhongmei Ban High School Program.  The program curriculum includes the Chinese National Curriculum, AP courses and UCLA Extension credit-bearing courses taught by UCLA instructors. 

Experienced Jinling High School and UCLA Global Classroom staff will support the teachers’ in the delivery of the course material.  And, the weekly work-load will include up to 18 teaching periods (40 minutes each) plus office hours and participation in school activities.  


Required Qualifications:
  • Native English speaker.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Advanced degree in English and/or English Teaching Certificate (e.g. TEFL/TESOL) for English teachers.
  • Teaching Experience

Compensation:
  • RMB 22,000 to 29,000/month (depending on experience and degree).
  • RMB 5,000/month housing stipend.
  • Airfare Reimbursement (up to 12000RMB).
  • Work visa and work permit sponsorship.
  • Chinese domestic medical insurance.
