POSITION SUMMARY
 
Under the supervision of the Faculty Support Coordinator, this position provides administrative support to the School of Education, including Academic Affairs, our four Departments, Office of Clinical Experiences, and other offices as needed.
This position requires developing positive working relationships with faculty, staff, and current and prospective students. 
This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday, 20 hours per week.
 
GOALS/MAJOR DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES
 
·        Administrative Support Services 80%
o   Reception/Greet Students and Visitors   
§ Assist walk-in visitors which includes answering questions, offering directions, and/or escorting visitors to the appropriate location
o   Copying/Printing/Filing  
§ Support copying, printing, and scanning for faculty
§ Assist Faculty Support Coordinator by maintaining inventory of office supplies and copier paper
§ Assist offices and departments with filing and file management as requested
o   Opening classrooms, lockouts
o   Mail 
§ Ensure daily delivery of mail and packages
§ Check for incoming faxes and deliver to mailboxes
§ Bulk Mailings for faculty and staff
·        Administrative Support Services for Office of Clinical Experiences 20%
o   Copying/Filing/Event Planning  
 
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
 
1.   Ability to work with discretion in a professional office that handles confidential files.
2.   Ability to develop proficiency in the use of the Web, Windows, Word, e-mail, electronic calendar, Excel, PowerPoint, and content management system software as requested.
 
3.   Ability to use copier, computer, printer, and fax with accuracy and efficiency.
 
4.   Ability to complete assignments accurately and with attention to detail within the specified time frames and in compliance with current regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and best practices.
 
5.   Ability to independently anticipate, identify, and creatively resolve issues in a professional manner, exhibiting good judgment in developing decisions, and evaluating possible solutions.
 
6.   Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with diverse professional and student populations.
